The Immigration forms process to immigrate to Canada can be exhausting and confusing to anyone. What is a family class sponsorship and how does it work? Any Canadian Citizen or permanent resident of Canada can sponsor a family member living overseas to live in Canada as a permanent resident.
A permanent resident can live in Canada for as long as they choose. They are also able to work, attend school, and receive other benefits such as health care. Eligible family members include a spouse (husband or wife), a common law partner, a conjugal partner or fiancé, a dependent child, a spouse’s dependent child, or a grandchild who is still dependent.
